Career Fairs
Career fairs are an easy way for students and alumni to meet recruiters, network for internships and jobs, and gather company information. Check out our Career Fair Prep page for tips and tricks on how to prepare for and succeed at an upcoming career fair.
All dates and times for career fairs can be found by logging into Handshake and clicking on the "Events tab" on the toolbar at the top of the page.
Fall 2022 Virtual Career Fair (in partnership with the University of New Orleans)
For the third year in a row, our Career Development Center has teamed up with the Office of Career Services at the University of New Orleans to host this event. With a combined student enrollment of more than 12,000 and hundreds of undergraduate and graduate degree programs between the two campuses, employers across industries will find the talent they need. The employers registered to attend this event will be recruiting for full-time, part-time, and internship opportunities in a variety of industries. All years and majors are encouraged to attend!

2021 NOLA Virtual Career Expo
Each day is open to students from all majors and years. The schedule of events is detailed below. The fair will be on March 3, 4, & 5 from 12:00pm to 4:00pm
- Wednesday, March 3, 2021: Business and Communications
- Thursday, March 4, 2021: Government, Non-Profit, and Teaching
- Friday, March 5, 2021: STEM & Healthcare
For the safety of students, staff, and our employer partners, the 2021 NOLA Career Expo will be hosted virtually. Sponsored by the Career Centers at Dillard University, Loyola University New Orleans, Southern University at New Orleans, University of New Orleans, and Xavier University of Louisiana, the 2021 NOLA Virtual Career Expo will take place over 3 days with participating employers organized broadly by industry. Employers registered to attend the expo will be recruiting for full-time, part-time, and internship opportunities.

AJCU Class of 2020 Virtual Career Fair
The Association of Jesuit Colleges and Universities is hosting a virtual career fair for the Class of 2020. This event offers a unique opportunity for graduates of Jesuit schools to meet with a large and diverse group of employers who are offering full-time job opportunities. What a perfect way to kick-start your career!

Mardi gras Expo
The Mardi Gras Creer Expo is one of the largest career fairs held in New Orleans. It's an excellent opportunity for job and internship seekers to meet local and national employers. Four regional schools host this fair and transportation to and from the university is provided.

Last Chance Career Fair
In our final career event for the academic year, the Last Chance Career Fair offers graduating seniors an opportunity to meet with potential full-time employers, and current students one more chance to network for summer jobs and internships or explore more career options. Make the most of the last chance to meet employers on campus before summer starts!

When: Usually the last week in March or the first week in April 2020
Part-Time Job Fair
Employers from the Greater New Orleans Area, as well as on-campus offices, will be seeking students looking for part-time opportunities with their organizations. The Fall Part-Time Job Fair is scheduled just in time to find a job after coming back to campus for the new academic year. Bring your resume and come connect with these employers.

When: Typically the first or second week of class during the Fall semester-August 2020
Fall Job & Internship Fair
If you are a graduating senior seeking a full-time job after college or a student looking for a Spring semester or internship, plan to attend the Fall Job and Internship Fair! Representatives from locally and nationally-recognized organizations will attend the event. Learn more about different careers and employers, expand your professional network, practice your elevator pitch, and bring your resume to highlight your skills and abilities.

When: Typically early Fall semester-October 2020
Colleg of Music & Media Career Expo
The College of Music and Media Career Expo is geared towards students in the College of Music and Media, and other students interested in careers in mass communication, music industry, fine arts, performing arts or media arts. Recruiters from various local and national organizations will be on campus to recruit interns for Spring and Summer, as well as potential employees for part-time and full-time positions.
Students should be prepared with copies of their resumes and/or portfolios.
