Xavi Lacayo

Xavi (He/Him) is a Loyola alumni from the class of 2015. He joined the Career Development Center as a Career Coach in the spring of 2023. He has an eclectic background ranging from retail management to immigration law, and even private investigation. His experiences have shaped him into a professional who is always ready to “embrace the chaos” of an ever-changing work environment.

Xavi obtained a bachelor’s degree in Mass Communications, focusing on Public Relations and Event Planning. During his time at Loyola, he was involved with multiple student organizations including Loyola’s Anime Club and Loyola Gaming. He organized movie nights, inter-collegiate video game tournaments, and even a cosplay contest.

In his free time, Xavi enjoys jogging around City Park, playing video games with his best friends, video-chatting with his family, combining fruits with libations, and spending time with his turtle, Bagel.
