Allison Mathews

Allison grew up around the country, living in several states including: Wisconsin, Tennessee, Florida and then several cities in Washington state. She moved to New Orleans in 2014 to pursue sunshine and a career in education, and has stayed put ever since. She has worked a variety of careers in the service industry, education, data and behavioral management, to name a few.

Her diverse upbringing and varied career experiences gave her a remarkable ability to understand and support people. She joined the Career Development Center in fall of 2023 as Employer Relations Coordinator. She has a drive for building relationships and finding common ground with diverse groups of people and is motivated by opportunities that allow her to help others articulate their needs and desires. With a background in behavioral studies, she has gained valuable insight into human behavior and developed a deep understanding of what drives us.

In her free time she loves to pedicab in the French Quarter and practice circus arts.
