Bio
With over five years of admissions counseling and college recruiting experience, Katie is an experienced addition to the Career Development Center. She earned a Bachelor of Music degree from the University of South Alabama, where she concentrated in vocal performance, and holds a Master of Arts Administration degree from the University of New Orleans. After completing her master's degree, Katie worked at the nationally-ranked National World War II Museum in New Orleans, where she contributed to the capital expansion of the museum.
In 2016, Katie joined Loyola University New Orleans’ Department of Film and Music Industry Studies where she assisted the Department Chair, and in 2017 she moved over to the Career Development Center to continue supporting young artists. She also works with New Orleans Opera Association as a stage manager, where she assists in producing four (4) full stage works each year.
